NSS Special Camp concludes at IS Dev Samaj School

Day & Night Camp was organized by Ishwar Singh Dev Samaj Senior Secondary School

A seven Days National Service Scheme(NSS) Day & Night Camp was organised by Ishwar Singh Dev Samaj Senior Secondary School, Sector 21C, Chandigarh. The Camp was inaugurated by  Bikram Singh Rana-State Liaison Officer NSS Chandigarh. During the camp various interactive sessions were conducted by different Resource Persons, like Life Skills by Ms. Rubal Marwaha from Regional Institute of English, Organ Donation Awareness by Neha Sharma from Mohan Foundation, Self Defence Training from Chandigarh Police, Traffic Rules awareness from Traffic Police Chandigarh and Stress Management by Sister Roma from Braham Kumari Ashram.

On the concluding day Loveleen Bedi, Principal, IS Dev Samaj School, Jeevan Bala and Chetna Verma, NSS Program Officers and various NSS Volunteers attended the function. Best NSS Volunteer Boy and Girl – Tejinder Singh and Simran Kaur were honoured. Various cultural items like dance, play, poetry and songs were presented by the volunteers on Swachh Bharat Theme. NSS Volunteers learned a lot in the camp.
