Arman Chetal student of class XII said: “The paper was relatively tougher than the previous year. One-mark questions accounted for 20 marks including fill in the blanks and multiple-choice questions (MCQs) were tricky. And 5 marks questions were easier.”

Where Shaurya another student of class XII said: “Five to six MCQs were tricky and the paper was lengthy as well.”

Bharat Bhushan, PGT Physics, St John’s High School said: “This was the first time that more MCQs were part of the paper and these were high order thinking questions of JEE Main Level.

Students are expected to mark less in these questions. where section B had some previous year’s questions and if the student had practiced questions from the past years, they will be able to cover and can score well.

Bharat Bhushan also said: “It was a balanced paper in terms of theory and numerical questions. The paper was slightly tricky but all questions were within the syllabus but some were not of the NCERT Level“.
