“International women’s day” occasion also celebrated by NABARD

Celebrated International Women Day

National Bank for Agriculture and Rural development Haryana Regional office celebrated “International women’s day on Friday 6 March 2020. Neena Singh was the chief guest.

NABARD celebrated “International Women’s day ” with the invitation of Neena Singh ( trustee and chief functionary, Bharat Prakash foundation) as chief guest at NABARD, Haryana, Regional office.

The senior officers from Punjab National Bank (convenor-state level banker’s committee), Sarv Haryana Gramin Bank, women SHG members, members from FPO, Bank Sakhis, women entrepreneurs staff members of NABARD also attended the function.

Rajiv Mahajan, Cheif General Manager congratulated the participants of NABARD on the occasion “INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY.

Rajiv Mahajan also appreciated the efforts which have been taken to promote women empowerment at NABARD.

He also mentioned the women self-help group movement, the largest microfinance program in the world pioneered by NABARD to have more than 1 crore SHGs in India.

Rajiv Mahajan also mentioned the initiatives took by Haryana Regional Office for promotion and credit linkage of women self-help groups, and also spoke about e- shakti project which under the progress of implementation in 11 sections of digitalization of SGHs and schemes for skills and development training programs in rural areas.

Wher our chief guest Neena Singh shared with the gathering about the Importance of International women’s day. and exhorted the women to come forward and fight for their rights.

She also encouraged the women gathering to work prominently with all positive efforts and sincerely, and to earn specialized knowledge of respective fields.

The regional manager of SHGB also gave his words to the occasion to motivated women towards their strong presence in the organization.

Women are special in every field, women are all four pillars of the world and livelihood.wish you happy” International Women’s Day” to all women in the world.
