US Cranberries gaining popularity in Amritsar

US Cranberries, the world’s popular superfruit, promoted by Cranberry Marketing Committee in India, recently participated in the 3rd Majha House Literature & Cultural Festival in Amritsar to promote Cranberries. Hundreds visited the stall and were enthralled by the Indian dishes made with this superfood.
“Participating in the Majha House festival was a great experience. We interacted with many Amritsarites and Cranberry fans, who shared excitedly that cranberries have become a part of their everyday food.” said, Michelle Hogan, Executive Director of the Cranberry Marketing Committee. 
 
“Cranberries are one of the most dynamic foods, and blend seamlessly with the Indian cuisine.” Ms. Hogan added. 
 
Cranberry is gaining popularity in India as a superfruit and is increasingly becoming a part of Indian households. Packed with phytonutrients (naturally derived plant compounds), cranberries are a great choice for the health-conscious consumer. Cranberries are available in a wide variety of forms including fresh fruit, juice, sauce, and dried. With such a diverse array of product forms, cranberries are easy to incorporate into the diet. The audience in Amritsar also noted their appreciation for the unique and delicious flavour of US cranberries.
